Admissions

The school fosters a close relationship with the local infant schools, but particularly Carrington Infant School. Children from the Infant School visit the school on regular occasions and develop relationships with the Junior School staff. An induction programme runs for children in the summer term.

Prospective parents are warmly invited to make an appointment to meet the Head Teacher and tour the school.

For admissions into our Additional Resource Provision (ARP), applications must be made through the Local Authority through an EHCP review by the SEND team, naming the ARP and Carrington Junior School as a placement. N.B. Accepting a place in mainstream at Carrington Junior School does not increase the chances of a child gaining a place in the ARP or increase priority in the process of allocation, and will not have any influence over decisions made by the external county SEND team.
