World Kindness Day

To celebrate World Kindness Day on Monday 13th November, the Carrington Schools came together to donate to our local community pantry — and we have been blown away by the generosity of all our families.
A group of children from the Infant and the Junior Schools helped deliver all the donations this morning. We were warmly received by Steven and Keely who talked to us about the importance of community pantries and what a difference they are making to the community.
We discussed why some families might need items from the pantry, the children helped sort and organise the donations and they prepared some bags ahead of this week’s families visiting the pantry.
A huge thank you once again to our families, to the children and to Flackwell Heath Community Pantry. It’s truly inspiring to see members of the community coming together to help each other out.
